Oh god this was entirely the best, best, best con ever and you never truly appreciate it until the last day and you realize you have to leave and you won't experience this kind of absolute joy for a whole year. I feel like every year is the same; the more and more that time passes after AX you get more embarassed about admitting to people that you even like anime, let alone cosplaying and going to AX for four days, and then as soon as I get home I am just...so happy to have been there I feel like I could shout to the world that fuck yeah I cosplay and I love it.

TOMORROW IS AX-CRUNCH TIME. Going to Mitsuwa to buy snacks, Dickie's to buy a new pair of Light pants, and work to pick up some more foods. I currently have all my cosplay gear packed in individual bags so I know everything is all together for each costume.

I'll be busy packing and whatnot all tomorrow, so you probably won't see another post from me until after AX (probably Sunday)!

I guess the interview today went well. They've decided to give me a two-week training period and I'll be going into the shop this Wednesday and Thursday. I'm not letting myself get too hopeful after what happened with Sushi Camp, though. :|


I am currently deciding on my class schedule for next semester and at this point I'm wondering how many classes I think I can take. I haven't taken more than 3 classes at once yet, and...well, barring my own incompetence to actually study I was able to handle it easily. I've got down Japanese, Astronomy, and Political Science (which I guess my counselor did tell me to take but I guess I forgot).

( Well this got a bit longer than I intended. )

So after much rambling and deliberation I have come up with 3 tentative schedules, if I want to keep it all to MW. Two of them require I be at school at 9:30am and be done at 6:50pm; the third I don't need to be at school until 12:30 but have to stay until 8:50pm. *more deliberating* As I originally thought, fuck the third plan. The first two options give me pretty much the same amount of down-time between classes, but I think the 2nd plan will provide me with the best breaks to be able to go in the LL and watch dramas for Japanese.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE????:
9:30-10:50 Astronomy 100
12:00-1:50 Math 110 (I think this is with the same teacher Mel had but w/e)
2:00-3:20 Politcal Science 120 (Amanda is this the same one you're taking?)
4:30-6:50 Japn 201
