I didn't realize unti late last Saturday night that I didn't wear Tsuna at the con at all, just for this photoshoot. ////orz Photobucket ruined the quality of the pics, by the way. The famiglia will get the high-res pics though~

Oh god this was entirely the best, best, best con ever and you never truly appreciate it until the last day and you realize you have to leave and you won't experience this kind of absolute joy for a whole year. I feel like every year is the same; the more and more that time passes after AX you get more embarassed about admitting to people that you even like anime, let alone cosplaying and going to AX for four days, and then as soon as I get home I am just...so happy to have been there I feel like I could shout to the world that fuck yeah I cosplay and I love it.

Pictures will be posted as I acquire them! First day Reborn!shoot is slowly loading onto my computer. In the mean time...

TOMORROW IS AX-CRUNCH TIME. Going to Mitsuwa to buy snacks, Dickie's to buy a new pair of Light pants, and work to pick up some more foods. I currently have all my cosplay gear packed in individual bags so I know everything is all together for each costume.

I'll be busy packing and whatnot all tomorrow, so you probably won't see another post from me until after AX (probably Sunday)!

I also realized recently that I never posted pics of my new room/furniture so...if you care about it here are the final results~

Thank you Lyn for finding the FAQ~ I forgot to check it when AX said they would have it up. To skip all the TL;DR and get down to the important stuff:

How will the hotels enforce this policy? Will Ax staff be enforcing it?

At the hotels, hotel staff will be solely responsible for the enforcement of their policies. We have been informed that the enforcement will be as follows: All registered guests at the hotel desiring access to individual sleeping rooms, must have either the wristband or a hotel key card for the respective hotel. The hotel will be performing spot checks at random times during which they will ask the attendee to present their credentials. When checked, the attendee must be able to present either a wristband, a key card for the hotel, or be accompanied to the individual’s hotel room by someone who can present these items. AX staff will only be enforcing the wristbands as it pertains to the Shuttles and the advanced ticket redemption.

PROBLEM SOLVED FOREVER; HAPPY END.

Us four actually registered for the hotel can have our wristbands and Lyn can have the hotel card key; plus she'll be accompanied by all of us ANYWAYS so it's like a double-bonus.


Less important but still a point of interest:
Wristbands will only be checked for at the convention center for shuttles heading from the convention center to the hotels only.

So all 5 of us can ride the shuttle to the con, but going back to the hotel somebody's gonna be left out. =w= I'm willing to walk back. IT'S TRAINING!!

ANYWAYS. Since Anime Expo is about 6 weeks away (!!) I figure we should start our checklist/countdown now. (First off - we are staying at the Westin Bonaventure, right? I...don't exactly remember. //orz)

Assuming WB is where we're staying, the info AX gives us says all rooms get an iron/ironing board and a coffee maker. Of course we were told the Holiday Inn had one too but I don't recall that it actually did? Did it? I mean, since we didn't use it for making noodles...Anyways. Yeah. We got those. Also just wanna double check that we've requested a NON-SMOKING room, yes? 'Cause last time was super gross. DDD: I wonder if we can write* a complaint ahead of time to make sure we actually get it this year.

It also says we can request an empty refrigerator! :0 But I don't know if that will cost money or not.

Whose giant cooler did we use last year? Let's continue using that. It was good. I will also be bringing the George Foreman again so yus.

Okay time for SRS BSNSS. Who is paying for the hotel? Also I believe we will have five (5) people in our room: Myself, Amanda, Amelia, Whitney, and Lyn. Yes? This will be hard. =w=; Also we're all in agreement we are going five days, right? Day Zero? FUCK THAT Day Zero is not worth it, we are going 4 days, 3 nights.

Also checking hotel availability and wtf only one hotel is open and it's not Holiday Inn.

...........crap. Wtf is Westin Bonaventure. It's like $145 a night. 8|

SO 3 nights split between the 5 of us will be $87 per person, plus the $50 for your own ticket.

Okay looking up reviews on this hotel brb. It's at least on Figueroa street...AX site says it's 1 mile away.
